MY REFERENCES EXPLAINED:
REFERENCE 1: YAYOI KUSAMA: She makes an intervention in the environment, while trying to express an idea or a critique. In my artwork, I make an intervention in a parking lot and in car plates, while trying to express an idea, for example, the deaths in 911.
REFERENCE 2: JEAN DUBUFFET: It relates, as he does a collage of objects. In my project, I unite a car plate with a sticker of a real object.
REFERENCE 3: JEFF KOONS (BALLOON DOG): This relates with my 3D art piece, as it will express an idea, in that case about optimism and death, while mine will also express an idea of death, will also, it’s a sculpture, and mine isn’t completely a sculpture, but it has elements of one.

SKETCH EXPLAINED
The sketch is specifically of the two art pieces, which are presented in the parking, so that more of the irony in the art piece. The sketch is the one of RAT, and the one of 911. The RAT one, critizes Samuel Moreno and his robberies, as instead of showing a rat, I show him, saying that he is a rat. With the 911 art piece, what I am showing is critique of the deaths in 911, as the wings include shoes, which are a symbol of the people that died. So in conlusion, in the rat one, there is the plate and a type of sculpture of the face of Samuel moreno. The 911 one, is the towers with wings, and wings have feet, representing the people that died in the plane, in the building, and in the city, in the places close to the genocide.

CURATORIAL DECISIONS
This place in the school was specifically chosen for the car plate to have more context and be more understandable, but also, the art piece would have more irony and would be cooler, because instead of there being a car, there was just the plate, and with the 3D piece, instead of the car, there would have been a cow with wheels, so in conclusion, the art piece is cooler and more understandable in that specific place.

The feedback says lots of things. It says that the place of exposure should change, to a place in the school that has more of a meaning. Also, it says that the 3D and 2D piece aren’t that similar, so there needs to be changes. Also, it says that the references aren’t well chosen, as they don’t have much congruency with my art piece. The 2D project was in paint, although the comments said that it’s hard to do it, as I am not that good of a drawer. Lastly, (of bad things), it says that the project can’t only be humor, but that it also has to have a critique or be related to something in specific. All the comments say that the concept and idea that was selected is very good and that it should kept, although some changes are needed. Also, they also talk about the irony and the comedy as a cool an interesting thing to make the art piece about. Some people’s feedback says that the comedy does not need to have a critique, although some other does, so it will indeed have a critique. The teachers say that its interesting that uses an object used in quotidian life, and por people to see a different or cool representation of the object.

REFLECTION OF THE TRIMESTER: The idea that I presented, I think was very good and presented in a good presentation, although it did indeed need changes, for example in the place where it would be presented. I had various problems in the making of the proyect and it was in wood, so it took extremely long to paint. For this, I wasn´t able to get the materials to make the 3D piece, so I decided to just make the 3D piece, the plat, but with wheels. I wasn´t even able to present this as the wheels got lost, which led to me having to present just the 2D piece, so in conclusion, the proyect was changed a lot from the beginning, from what the proposal and planning had been about. Anyways, my behavior wasn´t bad during the term, but I do think I need to improve a lot in my time managing skills, and be more careful with my stuff, so that I could have been able to present the 3D art piece that I said from the beginning, and so that I don´t lose my proyect.
